Dorothy Rhea Vance Mosley

Dorothy Rhea Vance Mosley, 78, of Victoria, Texas went to rest in the arms of the Lord and Master she had served so faithfully on February 13, 2009. She was born on June 22, 1930 in New Edinburg, Arkansas. Preceding her in death were her parents Aubrey & Johnnie Mae Vance, husband John L. Mosley, son Dane Mosley and sister Emma Jean Sims. Mrs. Mosley was a member of the Inez First Baptist Church of Inez, Texas
Dorothy is survived by four daughters, Sue McIntyre and husband James of New Edinburg, AR, Kay Elliott and husband Charlie, Kyra Smith and husband Daniel (Bubba), and Christy Kubecka and husband Jeff all of Victoria, Texas; her brother, Thomas Vance and wife Ruby of West Monroe, LA.
She also left behind six beloved grandchildren Sondra Parker, John Grady Mosley, Jamie McIntyre, Jason Creasy, Justin Smith, Corey Kubecka; four great-grandchildren Kaleb and Tyler Parker, Alyssa and Kaitlynn McIntyre and Jonah Creasy future great grandson due in May. Nephews Scott, Bret and Lane Vance, Steve and Ricky Sims, Hubert and Randy Grice, Mike, Rodney, Ricky and Jeff Mosley and nieces Tammy Sims, Sherry and Karen Mosley and Debbie Slayton.
Pallbearers will be Jamie McIntyre, Jason Creasy, Kaleb Parker, Corey Kubecka, Steve Sims and Brett Vance. Honorary pallbearers are Hubert and Randy Grice, Mike Mosley and Tyler Parker.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to: Mt Lebanon Baptist Church, 550 Bryant Spur, New Edinburg, Arkansas 71660 or New Edinburg Cemetery, 970 Banks Road, New Edinburg, AR 71660.
Services are to be held Tuesday morning at 10 am at Mt Lebanon Baptist Church in New Edinburg Arkansas. Burial will be in New Edinburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6-8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce Arkansas. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
