Dorothy M. Golden, 55, of Kingsland, went to be with her heavenly father after a lengthy illness with Lewys Body Dementia on Thursday May 22, 2008. She was born in Fordyce, Arkansas on August 11, 1952. Mrs. Golden was a homemaker and had previously attended the Kingsland Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by her husband Danny R. Golden of Kingsland, AR; her parents, B.C. & Pat Parnell of Kingsland, AR; a son Terry D. Golden of Kingsland, AR; three daughters, Marsha Shaver & her husband Joe of Kingsland, AR, Misty Simmons & her husband James of Pine Bluff, AR, Danna Roark of Fordyce, AR; two brothers, Bobby Parnell of Fordyce, AR, Arnold Harker of Kingsland, AR; a sister, Wanda Richart of Kingsland, AR, twelve grandchildren, & four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Andrew Roark, & a son in-law, Floyd Lynn Gullett.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday May 24, 2008 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Watson Gum-Grove Cemetery in Kingsland with the Rev. Lewis Langley & Rev. Harold Sims officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Friday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Memorials may be made to
