Doris D. Pride

Doris D. Pride 90 of Fordyce, Arkansas died Saturday, January 28, 2012 in Little Rock. She was born August 18, 1921 in Bearden, Arkansas to the late Jeptha Delos and Alice Deane Files Douglas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Fordyce but most recently resided at Emeritus at Chenal Heights in Little Rock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Pride and sister, Betty Kearl.

She is survived by her son, Thomas E. Pride and wife Phyllis of DeWitt, Iowa; daughter Deborah Reed and husband Charles of Gillett, Arkansas; sister, Louise Karriker and husband Dub of El Dorado, Arkansas; and grandchildren, Thomas A. Pride and wife Joan of West Des Moines, Iowa and Brent Reed of Paris, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends Monday from 9 AM until 10:30 AM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be Monday at 11 AM at Oakland Cemetery in Fordyce.
