Doris Jane Owens

Doris Jane Warrick Owens, 71, of Fordyce died Friday April 24, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born December 14, 1943 at McGehee, she was a daughter of the late Granville Warrick and Marie Huddleston Warrick. She was preceded in death by a son, James Edward Owens; two brothers, Drew Warrick and Billy Warrick; a sister, Sandra Raney. She is survived by her husband, John E. "Do-I" Owens of Fordyce; son, Johnny Owens and wife Meredith of Fordyce; daughter, Robin Love and husband Keith of Frierson, LA; two brothers, Buster Warrick of Benton, Bobby Warrick of Camden; four sisters, Dorothy Goodwin of Fordyce, Frances Dorrell of Fordyce, Helen Phillips of Pine Bluff, Shirley Richart of Fordyce; five grandchildren, Sara Jane Hancock and husband Logan of Monticello, Kaitlyn Downs and husband Jesse of Redfield, Allyson Love of Frierson, LA, John Peyton Owens of Fordyce, Jay Bryant Owens of Fordyce; one great-grandchild, Madison Paige Downs of Redfield. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Clemons, Rev. Rusty Ross, and Rev. David Dillard officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
