Doris Ann Mann

June 5, 1937 — July 13, 2022

Doris Ann Delamar Mann, 85 of Sparkman died Wednesday July 13th, 2022 at her home. She was born June 5th, 1937 the daughter of Gail Lee and Oleta David Delamar.

She was the Vice President and President of Merchants and Planters Bank in Sparkman for many years. She was a member of Holly Springs Methodist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Bill Mann; her parents and her sisters; Judith Abbott, Betty Matthews, Olene Peterson and Paula Jackson.

She is survived by her sons; Mark and Sherry Mann, Steve and Lynn Mann, and Mike and Kristi Mann all of Sparkman. She was known as Nan to seven grandchildren; Russ, Jordan, Kayla, Kyle, Morgan, Madison and Dawson; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; one sister-in-law Jessie Lynn Mann New of Arkadelphia and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at Holly Springs Baptist Church. There will be a visitation of 9:00 a.m. until time of the service. Officiating the service will be Pastor Terry Bunnell and Pastor David Dillard. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sardis Cemetery. A special thanks to her caregivers; Glenda Brewer, Nicole Velcoff and Cathy Graham. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
