Doris Shambley Kirkham, 84, of Camden died January 24, 2013 at Ouachita County Medical Centerin Camden. Born August 29, 1928 in Holly Springs, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Mary House. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Clinton Shambley and Elvin Kirkham; five sisters, Bernice Wells, Helen Gurnsey, Effie Leal Chamberlain, Georgia Chamberlain, and Irene Johnson; one brother, Cleo House.
She is survived by her daughter, Jan Duncan and husband Earl; two grandchildren, Deanna Dennis and husband Colton, and Kenny Duncan; four great-grandchildren, Kendell Eades, Kaitlin Duncan, and Lane and Cohen Duncan; one brother, Cecil House and wife Ines of Little Rock, and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday January 27th at Fairview United Methodist Church in Camden with Pastor Pam Brule officiating. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
