Doris M. "Dot" Cathey

Doris M. "Dot" Cathey, 86, of Bearden died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Silver Oaks Nursing Home in Camden. She was born September 13, 1926 in Snowhill, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ben John Lackey and Lila Lorene "Butchie" Higgs Lackey; and two brothers, John Ben "Buddy" Lackey and Patrick Jay Lackey. She is survived by one son, Ben Cathey of Oklahoma; one daughter, Carole "Cindy" Gilbert of Bearden; one sister, Shirley Young of Bearden; two grandchildren, Lori Bryant and Kirby of Camden, Jason Gilbert and Kelli of El Dorado; six great grandchildren, Lane, Miley, Laken, Leland, Halley and Houston. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Benton Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Sims and Rev.
