Donnie Jean McClain, 74, of Bearden died Monday February 23, 2009 at St. Joseph's Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born June 5, 1934 in Charleston, MO. She was owner/operator of the Flower House in Bearden and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lois Anderson Bounds, husband Bobby John McClain; son, Johnny Buck "Skeet" McClain; brothers, Bethel Bounds, Richard "Pete" Bounds, Rick Bounds and sister, Ann Martin. She is survived by son, Andy McClain of Bearden; daughter, Missy Dodson of Holly Springs; brother, Bobby Bounds of El Dorado; aunts, Eula Guilliams of Pea Ridge and Roberta Hall of Owasso, OK; four grandchildren, Andrea Gardner of Alexander, Tiffany Stell of Bentonville, John McClain of Bearden and Dusty Dodson of Holly Springs; four great-grandchildren, Haylee, Austin, Jaiden, Journie and two dogs, Jumper and Bo. Visitation will be Tuesday 6pm until 8pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Moss Cemetery near Bearden with Rev. Chris Martin officiating.
