Diane Ables Chaney, 63 of Ft. Myers, Florida died Friday, October 24, 2008 at her home. She was born September 19, 1945 in Hampton, Arkansas to the late Amos and Chlorine Haynes Ables. She was preceded in death by her sister, Fonda Kelly.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence Chaney of Ft. Myers, FL; a son, Len Strickler of Bonita Springs. FL; daughter Marcia Strickler of Bonita Springs, FL; two grandchildren, Matthew and Brandon Strickler; and a great-grandchild, Brayden Strickler.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at Antioch Baptist Church in Hampton with Rev. Garland Skidmore and Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. Burial will be at Pickett Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home of Hampton. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton.
