Denny Turner

Denny Turner, 82, of Hampton died Saturday February 21, 2009 at Courtyard Rehabilitation & Health Center in El Dorado. He was born June 1, 1926 in Ellisville, Arkansas. He was an Army World War II veteran and a retired master electrician. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dinnis Turner and Gertrude Johnson Turner and his wife, Ramona Strickland Turner. He is survived by a niece, Hazel Smith of Hampton; sister-in-law, Connie James and husband Morris of Camden and a host of other family and friends who knew him as Uncle Denny. Visitation will be Sunday 3pm until 5pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday at Trinity Chapel Church near Hampton. Burial at Means Cemetery.
