Deloris Ann Johnson

Deloris “Ann” Johnson age 80, was born January 12th, 1945 to parents Mavis and Truman Kemp, in Mountain View, Arkansas and passed peacefully at her home on May 10th 2025, surrounded by loved ones, in Camden, AR. Ann was married to the love of her life, Freddie Joe Johnson for almost 61 years. Before retiring, she enjoyed working at Evans St. Clair and Pace RV where she met many lifelong friends. Ann and Freddie Joe spent most of their free time with friends and family at Hwy 27 Fishing Village on Lake Ouachita where they enjoyed fishing and spending quality time with loved ones. Along with being a major Arkansas Razorback fan, Ann was a renowned cook and was known for her amazing homemade pies. She was a beloved member of Westside Methodist Church and was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star for 48 years.

She is survived by her loving husband, Freddie Joe Johnson, daughter Darla Kyseth (Kelly), daughter-in-law Susan Johnson; six grandchildren Beth Brevell (Jake), Haley Holeman (JJ), Mariana Gonzalez (Felipe), Kalli Loyd (Matthew), Blake Johnson (Meredith), Sara Lawson (Josh); and the true joys of her life, her 10 great-grandchildren, Adaline and Rustin Brevell, Tinley and Emory Holeman, Samuel Gonzalez, Emmett and Warren Loyd, Eleanor and Benjamin Johnson, and Ivy Jo Lawson; brother-in-law Gayle "Elmo" Johnson (Wanda), along with several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mavis and Truman Kemp, son Rusty Johnson, brothers Don and Dean Kemp, and sister Cloyce Risner.

The family would like to thank Arbor Hospice and Dr. Braden for all the care and support they have provided through this time.

Visitation will be at Westside Methodist Church, 2211 Maul Rd, Camden, AR 71701, where she was a member, on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 10: 00 a.m.-11:00 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kat Burchfield and Brother John Dawson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Holly Springs Cemetery after. In lieu of flowers, she asked donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
