David Jervis Walker

David Jervis Walker, 80 of Jacinto, died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at St. Vincent Infirmary in Little Rock. He was born May 24, 1931 in Jacinto, Arkansas. He was a retired postal worker and a member of Timothy United Methodist Church in Camden. He is preceded in death by his parents, Willis Alexander Walker and Dessie Marie House Walker; wife, Aleene Webb Walker; son, David Jervis Walker, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Grace Tripp Walker of Jacinto; one step-son, Brett Wayne Stuart of Afghanistan; two step-daughters, Mary W. Bowman of Richmond Hill, GA, Beth Brown of Hector; one sister, Pat Lacey of Dallas, TX; three step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Benton Funeral in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Rev. Brian Diffy officiating.
