David Hunter Parham, 81, of Fordyce, Arkansas, died on September 15, 2025. Born on August 6, 1944, in Camden, Arkansas, David was a father, grandfather, and friend, who will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and steadfast presence in the lives of those he cared about.
He was the owner of Parham Pulpwood of Fordyce, Arkansas, a family business with roots in previous generations, and a lifelong supporter of Arkansas forestry. David dedicated his career to the land and industry he respected, carrying forward a legacy of hard work and stewardship.
An avid golfer, he traveled often with friends to play courses around the country, enjoying a great round of golf and a good drink afterward (and often during). Known for his wit, energy, and magnetic presence, David was a memorable companion to friends near and far.
At home, he cherished time with his beloved dachshund, Hunter. Above all, he loved his family and wanted to see them succeed in life.
David is survived by his son, John David Parham of Conway and wife Kristen; his daughter, Paige of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Graydon Lee and Cassidy and his sister, Diane Parham Woods of Little Rock. His encouragement, love, and devotion will remain a lasting part of their lives.
Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday September 22, 2025 at Oakland Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net.
