David E. Mcmanus

David E. McManus, 81, of New Edinburg died Saturday, March 15, 2015 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock. He was born January 24, 1933 in New Edinburg, Arkansas. He was a member of New Edinburg United Methodist Church and an U.S. Army Korean veteran. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar Ross McManus and Ruby Lucille Reaves McManus; three brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter, Beverly Laws. He is survived by his wife, Jimmie Lash McManus of New Edinburg, one son, Ronald McManus of New Edinburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Anita and David Ivy of New Edinburg, Amelia "Mickey" and Junior Laws of Hampton; two grandchildren, Alice Griffin and her husband Chris of Junction City, April Gill and her husband Jimmy of Fordyce; and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday at Shady Grove Cemetery in New Edinburg with Rev.
