Dale Walter Freeman, age 87 of Thornton died Monday, August 30, 2021 at his home. He was born June 10, 1934 in Tulip, Arkansas. He was an U.S. Army veteran, a member of Thornton Baptist Church for over fifty years where he also served as deacon, and a founding member of Tram Hunting Club where he loved to turkey and deer hunt. Dale retired from Stephens Ford Motor Company where he worked as parts manger and he also retired from the Thornton Volunteer Fire Department.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh Dale Freeman and Pearl Rogers Freeman. He is survived by his wife Judy McManus Freeman of Thornton; one son, Murry Freeman and wife Charlene of Rison; one sister, Lucille Palmer of Fordyce; and two grandchildren, Walt Freeman of Monticello and Molly Freeman of Rison.
