Curtis W. Overton

Curtis W. Overton, 83 of Kingsland, died Monday, December 25, 2017. He was born August 16, 1934 in Tulip to the late William and Mary Lawrence Overton. He was also preceded in death by six brothers: Ray, Roy, DeWitt, Glendee, Cecil, and Preston Haywood Overton and three sisters, Ione Leath, Gertrude Huffman, and Lila Mae Harrison.
He is survived by his wife Hazel Stiles Overton of Kingsland; three sons Hollis Overton and wife Judith of Kingsland, Terry Overton and wife Kathy of Olympia, WA, Steven L. Overton of Georgia; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 12PM until 2PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be Friday at 2PM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Tulip Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
