Curtis Lee Garner, 79 of Kingsland, died Monday, February 11, 2019. He was born September 1, 1939 in Kingsland, Arkansas to the late Albert “Pat” Garner and Willie Mae Ashlock Garner. He was raised in Laytonville, California and Kingsland.
Curtis was a successful businessman and owned Garner Trucking. He also loved to travel with his former wife Sandra Jacobs Garner.
He is survived by two daughters Nicole Garner and Cheryl Garner both of Sheridan; his grandchildren LeighAnne, Aaden, and Madilynn; five siblings LaVois Veasey, James Albert Garner, Delouis Noyola, Carolyn McKinney, and Norris Garner; a host of nieces, nephews, and one surviving aunt Dovie Ashlock Nowlin.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2PM Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
