Connie Lee Stell Scott, 89, of Thornton died Monday April 21, 2008 at Select Specialty Hospital in Little Rock.
Born July 4, 1918 in Dallas County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lena Threet Stell. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church at Thornton.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Frank Scott, seven brothers and three sisters. She is survived by one daughter, Lena Scott Womack of Fordyce two sons, John Frank Scott of Thornton, Thomas Earl Scott of Cormwell, CT; two sisters, Mary Francis Daniel of Little Rock, Lena Wilma Green of Blytheville, four grandchildren, Beverly Scott Clark, J. Scott Womack, Leanne Scott Johnson, Dustin Scott; five great-grandchildren, Ryan and Garrett Womack, Brett Scott Clark, Ashley and Haley Johnson.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the First United Methodist Church in Thornton with Rev. Andy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Temperance Hill Cemetery.
