Clyde Edward "Hammer" Davis, 71 of Tinsman, Arkansas died Monday. He was born June 30, 1941 in Hampton to the late Edford and Maurine Oliver Davis. He was also preceded in death by his brother Randell Davis and sister Margie Davis.
He is survived by his wife Judy Davis of Tinsman; four daughters: Nancy Bryant of Tinsman, Candy Bettis of Little Rock, Tammy Simpson of Hampton, Amie Evans of Tinsman; four brothers: Jimmy Davis of Conroe, Texas, Mike Davis of Dianna, Texas, Pete Davis of Dallas, Texas, David Davis of Longview, Texas; a sister, Cathy Davis of Wideoak, Texas; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services are 2 PM Friday at Tinsman First Baptist Church. Burial at Earnest Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.net .
