Clarence Isaac Earnest, 85 of Fordyce, died Sunday, January 16, 2011. He was born September 16, 1925 in Tinsman to the late Noah and Fannie Fritz Earnest. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Earnest and two brothers.
He is survived by three sons, Reggie Earnest and wife Kay of Fordyce, Felix Earnest and wife Debra of Shreveport, LA, Mark Earnest and wife Pat of Harrison; one brother, Clyde Earnest of Harrell; seven grandchildren, Brandi and Cole Rivers of Frierson, LA, Casey Earnest of Fordyce, Shane Earnest of Shreveport, LA, Megan Earnest of Fordyce, Kristi and Kevin Toblesky of Benton, Bryan Wheeler of Harrison, and Brenna Matkin of Kingsland; four great grandchildren, and his loving companion, Janice Austin of Lockesburg.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 PM at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial at Earnest Cemetery. To sign the online register visit www.bentonfuneralhome.com .
