Charles Henry Lash

Charles Henry Lash, 62, of New Edinburg, died Wednesday June 18, 2008. Mr. Lash was born in Warren, AR on January 1, 1946 to the late James O. & Eva Armstrong Lash. He was a Truck Driver, and a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in New Edinburg, AR.

Mr. Lash is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Marie Lash, a son, James Lash of New Edinburg, AR, and honorary son, John King of New Edinburg, AR; a daughter, Tina Womack of New Edinburg, AR; a sister, Jimmie Ann McManus of New Edinburg, AR; & four grandchildren, Michael Wayne Holland, Justin James Lash, Chaice and Ryan Womack.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Sunday June 22, 2008 at the Psalms Camp Chapel. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in New Edinburg, with the Rev. Joel K. Lisemby officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
