Charles William Axsom II, 64, of Fordyce, died Thursday December 3, 2009 at the Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Mr. Axsom was born in Pine Bluff, AR on January 6, 1945. He was a retired fork lift driver, & a member of the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Kingsland.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Axsom of Fordyce, Ar; two sons, Keith Axsom & wife Samantha of Fordyce, AR, Billy Gene Axsom & his wife Kerri of Watson Chapel, AR; two daughters, Tammy Mitchell of White Hall, AR, Lisa Williams of Kingsland, AR; eight brothers, Johnny, Gene, Jerry, Mike, Steve, Robert, Tommy & Ronnie Graves; four sisters, Julie Coffman, Becky Vilches, Kathy Graves, Nadine Wolfe; eight grandchildren, Brayden & Brynton Axsom, Christy Francis, Kimberly & Patrick Axsom, Jana, Jessica & Bradley Williams; & two great grandchildren, Jayce Johnson & Hannah Parnell. He was preceded in death by his mother & grandmother, Jeanie Seay, & Julia Axsom; & a great granddaughter, Alaina Evans.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday December 5, 2009 at the Temple Baptist Church in Fordyce. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Mike McEuen & Rev. Don Plunkett officiating.
