Charlene Bates

Charlene Bates, 71, of Harrell died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. She was born February 20, 1946 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. She was a caregiver and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Hampton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mett Edward Williams and Grace Karriker Williams; three brothers, Jerry Williams, John Henry Williams, Marcus Williams; one sister, Sallie Oliver; and one great grandson, Hayden Haynes. She is survived by one son, Wayne (Kristie) Bates of Harrell; three daughters, Lori (Stevie) Ellis of Hampton, Angie (Jimmy) Pennington of Hampton, Diane (Benji) Franklin of Banks; one brother, Hershel (Margie) Williams of Harrell; four sisters, Beulah Helmick of Edmonds, WA, Joyce Bailey of Shreveport, LA, Jean (Don) Lunsford of Eudora, Betty Williams of Everett, WA; eleven grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday at First Assembly of God Church with Rev.
