Carolina Golden

Carolina Golden, age 89 of Kingsland died Sunday, June 22, 2025. She was born March 7, 1936 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was a Catholic and a caregiver. She is preceded in death by her husband, Weldon “Peck” Golden; three sons, Edward Abeyta, Jonathan Golden, Jesse Golden; and one daughter, Diane Chumley. She is survived by five sons, Danny Golden of Kingsland, Ben Golden of Montrose, CO, Paul Abeyta of Bearden, George Abeyta of Smackover, William Golden of Kingsland; three daughters, Yolanda Saglaberry of Phoenix, AZ, Mary Ann Ercanbrack of Kingsland, Juanita Knighten of Rison; one sister, Stella Ruiz of Chicago, IL; thirty-seven grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce with Father Joe Marconi officiating. Burial will follow at Kingsland Cemetery.
