He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Garlington of Fordyce; one daughter, Alanna Whiteside of Fordyce; one son, Will (Tamera) Moore of Saginaw, MI; three grandchildren, Maddy Whiteside of Fordyce, Nathanial and Wendy Moore of Saginaw, MI; one brother, Jim Garlington of FL.
