Calvin S. Shrum

Calvin Shrum, 77, of Fordyce died Wednesday May 27, 2009 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born July 26, 1931, he was a son of the late Quincy and Frances Ennis Shrum. He was also preceded in death by two children, Linda Sue and Rodney Shrum. He is survived by his wife, Clara Shrum of Fordyce; son, Steve Shrum of Fordyce; brother, Kenneth Shrum of Fordyce, sister, Dianne Ledbetter of Fordyce; and a granddaughter, Jessica Shrum of Killen, AL. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday graveside at Ebenezer Cemetery with Rev. Mike White officiating.
