Bret D. Raney, 53, of Hot Springs died Wednesday March 30, 2011 at his home. He was born January 27, 1958 at Pine Bluff. He was employed by Affiliated Engineers and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Oma Raney and Elizabeth and Myron Kelley. Survivors include his wife, Lisa Raney of Hot Springs; father, Jack Raney (Valerie) of St. Louis, MO; mother, Carolyn Jones (Bill) of Benton, AR; sister, Janai Kennedy (Mike) of Benton, AR; nephew, Austin Kennedy of Benton, AR. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce, AR. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Nick Flowers officiating.
