Brenda Lybrand Puterbaugh

Surrounded by friends and loved ones, Brenda Lybrand Puterbaugh, age 77, of Kingsland, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, September 12, 2026. She was born to her late parents, Charles and Rosie Lybrand of Rison, Arkansas and graduated from Rison High School.

She married her precious love, Harry Puterbaugh in 1968. Together they ran a dairy farm, owned and managed a business affectionally known as "The Mercantile" and devoted their lives to ministry and helping others. Brenda fervently supported Harry in music ministry, assistant pastorships and pastorship of Kingsland Assembly of God. Brenda further devoted her life to family and friends. Her life's passion was her husband, daughter, and grandchildren. The depth of the bond between them was exceptional. She loved them beyond measure. She lived a life of true servanthood, always placing the needs of others before her own. She loved to read, cook and was a cleaning fanatic. Most importantly she loved her Savior and made it her goal to be as Christ like as possible through encouragement and prayer for her beloved family, friends, church family and often strangers, who were not strangers long. She loved people and found any way possible to help those in need. She touched countless lives with her compassion, care and grace and was loved by all who truly knew her.

She is survived by her true love, Harry; one loving daughter, Angelia (Terry) Crouse; one grandson, Seth (Taylor) Crouse; two great granddaughters, Quinn and Livie Crouse; two brothers, Leland (Lisa Lybrand, and Randy (Paige) Lybrand; 10 nieces and nephews; and 12 great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jerry Lybrand.

Brenda leaves a legacy of love, compassion and endless encouragement. A graveside memorial service honoring Brenda's life will be held Wednesday, September 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Kingsland Cemetery in Kingsland, Arkansas with Bro. Dusty Rhodes and Bro Joe Lee Poss officiating. Arrangements are with Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce. Pallbearers are Heath Lybrand, Famy, Seth and Zack Crouse, Ken, Kenneth and Jake Puterbaugh. The family will receive friends at 9:00 a.m. prior to the service. Memorials in honor of Brenda can be made to Kingsland Cemetery for perpetual care of all.
