Brenda Hyde

Brenda Baxter Hyde, 73, of New Edinburg, passed away on September 15, 2025 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born on June 17, 1952, to Hilton Baxter, Sr. and Margie Smith. She was loved and raised by Howard Adams and Margie Smith Adams. She was a beautician and was also employed with LTV/Vought.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; 5 brothers, Niles Adams, Larry Adams, Davey Adams, JR Baxter, Richard Adams, and Michael Adams.

She was survived by her son, Adron McCollister and wife, Pateresa (Lee) of Rison; stepson, Lewis Hyde, Jr. and wife, Crystal of Hampton; grandchildren, Topanga Castlow and Jessica Garcia; and sisters Kathy Nail and Sharon Cochran, both of Missouri; and special friend Lewis Hyde, Sr. of New Edinburgh. She will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain.
