On April 1, 1981, in Bearden, Arkansas Brenda married the love of her life, Ray Clowers. Together they built a fulfilling life centered on faith, family, and love. Brenda enjoyed spending time with family and friends on the river, but found her greatest joy in raising her children and doting on her grandchildren. She fiercely loved her family so much that she often said she would “fight the devil” for them.
Brenda’s heart overflowed with compassion. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering support for her family and friends. Her home and heart were always open to those in need. She will be remembered for her strong work ethic, her big heart, and her feisty personality. Above all, she passed these qualities on to her children, who carry her knowledge, love, and strength in their own lives.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Johnny Evans; and two brothers, Robert “Buddy” Clayborn and Randall “Randy” Clayborn.
