Bobby Joe Conelly, 66, of Fordyce, died Saturday September 8, 2012 at the Dallas County Medical Center. Mr. Conelly was born in Parkin, AR, on May 15, 1946, to the late George & Druesella Conelly. He was a Baptist & a retired Mechanic.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lois Mcelyea & her husband James, of Fordyce, AR, Thera Bailey & her husband Bruce, of Fairmont, OK; five brothers, Jimmy, Don, & David Conelly of Tulare, CA, Larry Conelly of Jacksonville, AR, Monty Conelly of Las Vegas, NV; six sisters, Francis Davis of Michigan, Ann Conelly Willcox of Fort Smith, AR, Christine Butcher of Tulare, CA, Caroly Smithson of Tulare, CA, Judy Riggs of Tulare, CA, Joyce Garcia of Vislia, CA; three granddaughters, Ashley Shaddock & her husband Chris of Fordyce, AR, Samantha Stanfield of Fordyce, AR, Brittany Simms of Pine Bluff, AR; & a great granddaughter, Harley Grace Shaddock of Fordyce, AR. Mr. Conelly was preceded in death by a brother, James Bodie, a sister, Shirley Wright, & a great granddaughter, Brianna Langston Shaddock.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday September 13, 2012 at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Mike White officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
