Bobby Lane Avant, 56, of Hampton died Monday April 8, 2013. Born January 14, 1957 at Camden, he was a son of the late B.L. and Maxine Duncan Avant. He is survived by three sons, Brandon Avant and wife, Melissa of Harrell, SSG Brent Avant and wife Regina of Clarksville, TN; Brandon and Brent's mother, Ginger Kitchens of Frenchport, AR; Sammy Avant of Hampton; Sammy's mother, Janice Avant of Hampton; brother, Scott Avant of Hampton; five grandchildren, Tyler Hearnsberger of Harrell, Braxton Avant of Harrell, Bronson Avant of Tinsman, Khloe Avant of Clarksville, TN, Jordan Copeland of Clarksville, TN; niece, Shawnee Newton and husband, Brent of Harrell; great nephew, Kaleb Newton of Harrell. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9 :00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at Hampton First Baptist Church with Rev.
