Billy Ray Lowe, 77, of Peoria, Arizona, died April 20, 2009, surrounded by his family.
He was born July 19,1932, in Warren, AR, the son of the late Erwin S. Lowe and Lucy Russell Lowe.
He attended Warren High School and served in the National Guard in the early 1950s and was honorably discharged as a master sergeawnt. In 1958 he was employed by General Motors and worked as a corporate service manager living in Houston, TX, Oklahoma City, OK., and New Orleans, LA. He retired to the Phoenix area in 1992 and became active in the local Airstream Club.
He is survived by his wife Betty Bryant Lowe of New Edinburg, AR. and daughters Debra Alonzo (Jay), Elizabeth Jane Gridley, and Nancy Pennington (Donald); by grandchildren Collin Alonzo (Tina), Lauren Keyser (Chris), Carly Lord (Jim), Trey Gridley, and Madeline Alonzo; and by his great-grand children, Dylan Alonzo, Caroline Keyser, and Rocket Lord. He is also survived by his sister Charlene Estes of Houston, TX and her family, as well as his aunt Helen Mullins, of Warren, Ar.
A visitation and memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday May 2, 2009, at the Smith Chapel Church in Kingsland, AR, followed by a private burial.
