Billy Gene Lambert

Billy Gene Lambert 67, of Hampton died Thursday March 1, 2012 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Born August 14, 1944 at El Dorado, he was a son of the late Dan B. and Lottie Beatrice "Bill" Whittington Lambert. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Lambert and a nephew, Buck Lambert. Survivors are his wife, Shirley Lambert of Hampton; son, Bill Ball, Jr. of Genoa; daughters, Marina Henry of Bearden, Angela Simpson of Warren, Melissa White of Junction City, Ruby Beck of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Ruby Lambert of Hampton; nephew Dan B. Lambert of Hampton; grandchild Morgan Echols of Genoa and six more grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Cemetery with Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
