Billy Wayne Harper, Sr., age 77 of Mayflower died Monday, January 20, 2025 at Conway Regional Hospital in Conway, Arkansas. He was born December 29, 1947 in Calhoun County, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents, George W. Harper and Elsie Lawrence Harper. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Harper of Mayflower; one son, Billy Wayne Harper, Jr. of Thornton; two step-sons, Robert Castro of Mayflower and Michael Castro of Wichita Falls, TX; one step-daughter, Tammy Rogers of Mayflower; one sister, Freda Gayle Blake of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Thursday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Fordyce with Rev. Stan Hobson officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
