Billy Hugh Hannegan

Billy Hugh Hannegan, 66, of Hampton, died Friday October 8, 2010. Mr. Hannegan was born in Hampton, AR, on January 15, 1944 to the late Jett & Erva Mayfield Hannegan. He was a retired mechanic for the Hampton School District, & a member of the First Baptist Church of Hampton.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Hodnett Hannegan of Hampton, AR; two sons, Scott & Buddy Hannegan both of Hampton, AR; two brothers, Ben Hannegan & his wife Reba of Corpus Christi, TX, Dale Hannegan & his wife Julia of Hampton, AR; a sister, Jeanette Webb of Hampton, AR; three grandsons, Brandon, Brad, & Jarad Hannegan all of Hampton, AR; & a great grandson, Jacob Hannegan of Hampton, AR. Mr. Hannegan was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Hannegan, two sisters, Madge Dean, Mary Nell Lee, & a great grandson, Benjamin Jett Hannegan.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Monday October 11, 2010 at the Antioch Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pickett Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Nutt officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday evening at the funeral home in Hampton. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
