Billy Gene Clark

Billy Gene Clark, 85, of Fordyce died Friday November 28, 2014 at St. John's Place in Fordyce. Born July 11, 1929, he was the son of the late Elby "Buster" Clark and Lillian Hambright Clark. He was owner and operator of Clark Furniture and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Clark and sister, Ruth Aldridge. He is survived by his son, Dwayne Clark and wife Tennia of Fordyce; sister, Sue Davenport of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Drew Clark of Fordyce, Haley Clark of Kingsland, Seth Clark of Fordyce, Logan Clark of Fordyce; great-grandchild, Austin Evans of Kingsland; three step-children, Lisa Hull, Randy Quarles, Chuck Quarles. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Food Pantry, 501 N. Main St., Fordyce, AR 71742.
