Bill Taft James, 86, of Thornton died Sunday November 5, 2017 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. Born December 18, 1930 at Holly Springs, he was a son of the late Gurtman James and Jewel White James. He was a minister and retired from pipeline construction. He is survived by his wife, Anneke Cox James of Thornton; son, Bill Ed James and wife, Donna of Fordyce; daughter, Stacia Williams and husband, Jimmy of Bearden; brother, Jimmy James of Thornton; sisters, Barbara Whitley and husband, Paul of Thornton, JoAnn Cayce of Thornton; grandchildren Stephanie James of Morrilton, John David James and wife, Jessica of Benton, Greg Charney of Houston, TX; great-grandchildren, Kynlee James and Deacon James, and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel.
