Beulah Alice Mckeowen

Beulah Alice Overton McKeowen, 87, of Tulip, died Monday March 23, 2009 at her home. Mrs. McKeowen was born in Tulip, AR on December 5, 1921 to the late James Walter & Amy Lucy Lawrence Overton. She was a homemaker & a member of the Tulip Methodist Church, where she served as the Secretary & Treasurer.

She is survived by her husband of 64 Years, James McKeowen of Tulip, AR; four daughters, Patsy Daniels of Grapvine, AR, Ann Talbert & her husband Gary of Benton, AR, Doris Nutt & her husband Fay of Fordyce, AR, Jeanie Stiles & her husband John D. of Tulip, AR; two sisters, Elsie Wallace of Malvern, AR, Geraldine Matthews of Fordyce, AR; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, & one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by several brothers & sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the Tulip Methodist Church. Burial will be in Tulip Cemetery, with the Rev. J.J. Harrington officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
