Bettye Lou Abbott

Bettye Lou Brazeale Abbott, 87 of Bearden, died November 22, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1937 in Sparkman, Arkansas to the late Malcolm and Lula Jane Beard Brazeale. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Abbott.

She is survived by her two daughters, Shelia Pennington of Sparkman and Cissy (Mike) Cox of Camden; her grandchildren, Brad (Laura) Pennington and children Tristan and Harper of Sparkman, Todd Pennington of Sparkman, Tyler (Heather) Cox and children Averie, Mollie, Will, and Lucy of Monticello, Robby (Hayley) Cox and children Rowyn and Romyn of Millbrook, Alabama, and Brandon (Bre) McAdoo and children Bryleigh and Barrett of Hot Springs.

A visitation will be held Monday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 10 AM Tuesday at Chapel Hill Cemetery with Rev. Andy Hughes officiating.
