Betty Thompson

Betty Jean Chamberlin Thompson, 74, of Fordyce died Wednesday December 28, 2011 at the Dallas County Medical Center in Fordyce. Born January 16, 1937 at Sciotoville, OH, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth Author Chamberlin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence E. Thompson, and a grandson, Joshua Hughes. She is survived by two daughters, Michelle Stanfield (Chris) of Fordyce and Elizabeth Hughes (Russell) of Pearcy, AR, and four grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Little Rock National Cemetery in Little Rock.
