Betty J. Marchant

Betty J. Marchant, 81, of Bearden passed away peacefully on February 12, 2014 at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born May 14, 1932 in Ivan, Arkansas. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church in Bearden. She is preceded in death by her parents, Everett Wilson and Quinnie Wilson Gatling; husband, James L. Marchant; one son, Jimmy Randall Nutt; four sisters, Joyce Wilson, Eloise Wilson, Margaret Scott and Bessie Wilson. She is survived by four sisters, Lois Mosley of Bearden, Pat Jennings of Rison, Mary House of Carlisle, PA, and Bobby Lacewell of Bryant; special niece, Charlotte Henry of Bearden; special great nieces, Angela Bieber of Bearden, and Alisa Dompe of Hallsville, TX; and many more nieces and nephews that loved her very much. Visitation will be Friday 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Benton Funeral Home in Bearden. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Bethel Cemetery in Bearden with Brother Jackie Bevill officiating.
