Betty Bryant Lisemby, 83 of Fordyce, died Sunday, September 27, 2009. She was born September 8, 1926 in New Edinburg, Arkansas to the late Montie and Allie Tipton Bryant.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Elbert W. Lisemby of Fordyce; one son, Larry Lisemby and wife Anna of White Hall; two daughters, Pamela Simmons and husband Kerry of Fordyce, and Kay Waymack and husband Mike of Pine Bluff; one brother, Max Bryant of Little Rock; three sisters, Shirley Cherry of Odem, TX, Montine Bryant of Fordyce, and Pat Belin of Hermitage; four grandchildren, Laura Hardy of Springdale, Jason Lisemby of Jonesboro, Niki Shaddock of Fordyce, and Ashley Smith of Maumelle; three great grandchildren, Tripp and Evie Beth Hardy of Springdale and Owen Shaddock of Fordyce.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, W.B. and Joe Bryant and two sisters, Helen and Eunice Bryant.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Wednesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel in Fordyce with Rev. Mark Rivers and Rev. Stacy Reed officiating. Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery in Kingsland. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6 PM until 8 PM at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce.
