Betty Jean Givens

Betty Jean Givens, 82, of Fordyce died Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was born May 14, 1937 in Caney, OK. She was a retired hairdresser and realtor. Her greatest loves were her children, grandchildren, and her flowers. She is preceded in death by her parents, Granvil Golden and Joy McDougal Golden; husband, Howard Givens, and one grandchild, Donnie Givens. She is survived by three children, James Givens and Dennis Givens of Thornton, and Brenda Abner of Reno, NV; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Friday at Calaway Cemetery near Thornton with Rev. Kevin Stevicks officiating. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
