Betty Jean Dunn

Betty Jean Dunn, 81, of Hampton died Saturday, June 12, 2010 at Stone County Nursing & Rehab in Mountain View. She was born September 5, 1928 in Spencer, LA. She was retired from Dan Cook's in Camden and was a member of Faustina Methodist Church near Hampton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Ruby Green Cole, her husband, Allen J. Dunn, daughter, Charlotte Russell and granddaughter, Shawna Tucker. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Sheila Dunn of Hampton; daughter, Wynona Steelman of Hampton; four brothers, Leroy Cole of Marion, LA, James Cole of Tulsa, OK, Charles Cole of Shreveport, LA and Boyd Cole of Marion, LA; one sister, Bobbie Joe Krause of Robstown, TX; nine grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday at Faustina Methodist Church with Rev. Harry Buddy Hamner officiating.
