Bessie Maurice Anders

Bessie Maurice Anders, 79 of Hampton, died after a long battle with Alzheimer's Dementia. She was born in Bradley County Arkansas, on November 2, 1928 to the late Clyde & Bessie Mae Thomason Taylor. Mrs. Anders was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hampton, and a retired Restaurant Owner.

She is survived by her three sons, Terry Anders Jr. & his wife Rena of Harrell, AR, David McClain & his wife Tina of Warren, AR, Wayne Slaughter of Dallas, TX; three daughters, Kimberly Stinnett & her husband Russell of Hampton, AR, Sheila Thomason & her husband Dennis of Hampton, AR, Peggy White & her husband Don of Hampton, AR; two brothers, Tom Taylor of Dallas, TX, Owen Taylor of Crossett, AR; ten grandchildren, & eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Anders Sr. & two brothers, Raymond & Doyle Taylor.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday October 09, 2008 at the First Baptist Church in Hampton. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Jersey, with the Rev. Neal Stevens & Rev. Clint Ritchie officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Hampton. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
