Berta Ruth Emfinger Griffin

Berta Ruth Emfinger Griffin, 80, of Kingsland died Friday July 18, 2014 at her home. Born December 8, 1933 in Elmore County, AL, she was the daughter of the late David Anderson Emfinger and Annie Ruth Bush Emfinger. She was a retired switchboard operator and a member of Kingsland First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and son, Shelby Carl Griffin. She is survived by her husband, Shelby "Pap" Griffin of Kingsland; daughter, Susan Diane Inman of Prattville, AL; two grandchildren, Jason Edward Inman of Prattville, AL, Susan Michelle Inman of Prattville, AL; three great-grandchildren, Cooper James Inman of Amery MS, Jackson Edward Inman of Amery, MS, Presley Inman of Prattville, AL; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Benton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
