Beatrice Hannegan Ivy

Beatrice Hannegan Ivy, 102 died Wednesday November 28, 2012. She was born in Blanntown, AR May 23, 1910 to Tom and Millie Holmes Hannegan. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Larkin Ivy, son Rodney Ivy, 3 brothers Frank, Roy and Joe T. Hannegan, 2 sisters Nora Waldrip and Minnie Williams. "Miss Bea" as she was known to many, lived in Hampton, AR until 2001. She owned and operated Ivy's Ready to Wear for 25 years.
She leaves to cherish her memories, daughter Betty Ann Ivy Hadley, granddaughter, Sharon Shumate (Tim), great-granddaughters Magen and Morgan Shumate, Nephew Doug Williams (Helen), Nieces Ann Norsworthy and Beth Williams, 7 great nieces and nephews, their families and many close family and Church friends.
Visitation will be Friday November 30, 5-7pm at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton, AR. Graveside service will be Saturday, December 1st 2pm at Campground Cemetery, Hampton, AR. A special thanks to Maumelle Health and Rehab for their love and care for the last 3 years. Memorials may be made to Oak Park Baptist Church, 8200 Flintridge Rd, Little Rock, AR 72210 in her name.
