BC Parnell, 78, of Kingsland, died Monday May 31, 2010. Mr. Parnell was born in Kingsland, AR on September 11, 1931, to the late William Lewis, & Ida Bell Mitchell Parnell. He was a Baptist & retired from Gene Barrow Roofing.
He is survived by his wife, Eura "Pat" Parnell of Kingsland, AR; a son, Bobby Ray Parnell of Fordyce, AR; a daughter, Wanda Faye Richart of Kingsland, AR; a son in-law, Danny Golden of Kingsland, AR; a special friend, Arnold Harker of Kingsland, AR; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, & five great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Golden, three brothers, Robert, Calvin, & Floy Parnell, five sisters, Marie Barnard, Corine Seymore, Edith Merrit, Sue Dean Parnell, & Pauline Parnell.
Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Thursday June 3, 2010 at the Stoney Point Cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Sims, & Rev. Buddy Brewer officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home in Fordyce. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
