Aubrey Lee Quarles of Sheridan, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior and beloved wife, Martha Dianne Quarles on March 9, 2021. He and Dianne were married for 51 years and he has grieved and longed to be reunited with her since her death on May 17, 2015.
He was born January 26, 1942 in El Dorado, Arkansas, son of the late Arlen and Zera Lee Quarles. He graduated from Watson Chapel High School in Pine Bluff, Arkansas in 1960. He and Dianne were married November 23, 1963.
Aubrey was an Ironworker who oversaw many crews in his career before retiring in 1993. He was a member of Lemonwood Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school for many years.
He leaves behind two daughters, Tina (Jimmy) Herring and Tracey (Roger) Owens both of White Hall; two granddaughters, Tiffany Herring of Sherwood, and Erica Owens of White Hall. He is also survived by his brothers: Richard Quarles, Johnny Quarles, Von Ray Quarles, Douglas (Bucky) Quarles and Steve Quarles all of Pine Bluff; and his sister, Judy Roberts of Thornton, along with many nieces, nephews, friends and his loyal companions - dogs, Dog and Missy and cat, Tigger.
